F.A.Q.

How long does it take to make a stuffed animal?

Times vary. Dragons average around 18-25 hours, Keychains around 3 hours, Axolotls/frogs around 8 hours, etc. Each product is handsewn, and every pattern is created by me.

How long do commissions take?

Commission time range depends, and can vary widely. Some take a few days and others can take several weeks. It all depends on how long it takes for fabric to get delivered, if things are in stock, etc. Addtionally, I do take mental health seriously, and if circumstances come up where I can’t work, then that extendeds the timeframe as well.

Can I be put on a commission slot list/waiting list?

You definitely can! You can reach out to me on this website or on one of my social medias and ask about placement in a waitlist (IF commissions are open), and we can discuss what you’d like, the timeframe of when you will get your plush, payment, etc.

How do I know if commissions are open?

You can find this out through the banner at the top of my website or through my social media pages. In each one of my bios, it will say if comms are open or closed.

What is a “Chad”?

Chads are how I refer to the plushies I make! It started as a joke from a drawing I made, where my partner commented on my drawing looking like it was in the “chad” style. From then I started calling the plushies “Chads”.

What prices can I expect for a commission?

This depends greatly on the base plush you want, and added features. For an exact breakdown, please take a look at my comms sheet. If there is no comms sheet available, you can DM me on one of my social media pages, or send me an email on this website. Below is a short explanation of how pricing can work:

If you would like a dragon (standard size) the price starts at $230. Adding additional horns, wings, heads, tails, etc., will up the price depending on what additional things you choose. If you request a specific fabric be used, you may be charged extra for that as well (again this depends on what fabric you want).

All of this can be communicated in DMs or emails, and I will provide you with a sketch of how I will complete the plush before you pay the deposit fee.

Can I add custom features to an already created pattern?

Yes! This will likely up the price of the plush, but feel free to message me and ask for whatever you may like!

Do I have to pay the full commission price upfront?

No, the full commission price is not charged upfront. Instead, a deposit fee of 65% is charged before the plush is created. One the plush is finished, pictures will be sent for approval, and after any changes have been made, the other 35% will be charged PRIOR TO SHIPPING.

Are your stuffed animals safe for children/pets?

No. They have never been safety tested and are not safe for children or pets. Please see the WARNING/DISCLAIMER page for more info on this.

How often do new stuffed animal designs come out?

Fairly regularly. I try to create new designs while I work through others. I tend to create things based on the season of the year we are in, so there are designs themed for those seasons.

Do you make your own patterns?

Yes. I make all of my own patterns. I do not buy patterns from other artists.

Do you sell your patterns?

I do not sell my patterns. I do not think I ever will sell them, but if something changes I will definitely make an announcement regarding it on my social medias.

What do I have to pay upfront in a commission?

The deposit fee is 65% of the decided price for the plush. That is what gets paid upfront. The plush will only be started once I have recieved the 65% deposit. The remaining 35% is charged after the plush is completed, but PRIOR to shipping.

What payments do you accept for commissions?

At this time, I only accept cashapp. I do not want to increase my prices so that I can offset the fees that will be taken if I use other payment apps (i.e. paypal, venmo). Cashapp does not take a cut for themselves, so I prefer to use their payment app.
